He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth DeCato (Donovan); his son Thomas DeCato; and his siblings, Florence, Barbara and Louis.
He is survived by: his son David DeCato (Patricia); his grandchildren, Thomas DeCato, Katherine Schultz and Jessica Kolesar; and his great grandchildren, Kajsa, Lucy, Molly, Nick and Teddy.
