It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Answer Lena Simmons-Stovall (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Buchanan and Lucy Harris; her son Arthur Luster; her brother Dave Harris; and her grandsons, Brandon, Antoine and Arthur.
She is survived by: her son Willie Luster; her grandchildren, Barbara Forbes (Harold) and Tisha Simmons; and her siblings, Harry, Darlene, Elaine, Rosie and Diane. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
