Alice E. Hernandez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice E. Hernandez of New Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Alice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Alice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rafael Hernandez; her parents, Luca DeFilippo (Louis) and Eileen Moquet DeFilippo; her children, Nereida Hernandez Brown and Rafael Hernandez, Jr. (Kimberly Chasse); her grandchildren, Makayla, Lucas Hernandez, Matthew, Natalie and Natasha Brown; her brother Butch DeFilippo (Cheryl Daniele); her niece Amanda; and her nephew Joseph DeFilippo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
