He is survived by: his wife Lillian Cardin (Mazzarella); his children, Benjamin Cardin of Syracuse, NY and Danielle Cardin of Granby; his stepsons, Matthew Eseppi (Lynn) of West Hartland and Jason Nowakowski (Sara) of Farmington, CT.; his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Benjamin, Madelyn, Nora and Joelene; and his in-laws, Joseph, Kim Mazzarella of Torrington, CT, Mary Sprague of Westbrook, CT, Cecile and Al Lambert of Winsted, CT..
