It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Oliver Caine Sr. (New Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Caine and Dorothy Caine (Killmer); his daughter Jean Marie Caine; his siblings, Barbara Noack, James Caine, Myles Caine, Sr. and Norman Caine; and his brother-in-law Malcolm "Mac" Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Caine (Desjardin); his children, Jennifer Caine (Sean Miller) of New Hartford, Ronald O. Caine, Jr. (Pamela) of Barkhamsted and Julia Drake of Avon; his granddaughters, Caitlin Van Mil (Bryan) of East Windsor, Colleen Beechinor (Seth) of Harwinton, Ashley Caine of Vernon, Emilee Caine of Storrs, Veronica Darke of Avon and Sophie Drake of Avon; his siblings, Raymond Caine, Diane Marek of Barkhamsted and Verna Jean Wagner; his sisters-in-law, Carol Wilson of Pleasant Valley, Mary Chichester (Ken) and Rosemarie Caine of New Hartford; and his pet Benny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (51 Church St, New Hartford, CT 06057).
