With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert E. Pretak of New Hartford, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Pretak and Estelle Pretak (Viscuis); and his brothers, Stephen Pretak and Frederick Pretak. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pretak (Kuhn); and his siblings, Thomas Pretak and Charlotte Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
