He is survived by: his wife Joy Pernal (Skey); his children, John Russell "Rusty" Pernal (Michelle), Pamela Pernal of Avon, Sandra "Sandy" Pernal, Glenn Thomas of Canton and Robin Pernal; his stepchildren, Gregory Cross (Lisa) of Canton and Anna Buzinsky (Ted) of Colebrook; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Russell, Tares, Marinna, Sophie, Andrew, Joshua, Salena, Noah, Taylor, Jessica and Jenna; his great grandchild Logan; his siblings, Richard Pernal (Judy) and Helen Pernal of Meridan; and his family, Monty and Rupert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
