With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Smith of New Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel B. Smith and George T. Smith; his wife Teresa Carlino Smith; his children, Michael Smith (Terina) and Cindy Lamoureaux (Mark); his grandchildren, Alex Lamoureaux (Brehan), Kelsey Lamoureaux (Sean Pierce) and Grayce Smith; and his great grandchild Marin Lamoureaux.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Foothills VNA, 32 Union St., Winsted, CT 06098, the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
