We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 80, Diane (Caine) Marek (New Hartford, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Perry J. Koll; her spouse Thomas Marek; her parents, James Caine and Dorothy Caine (Killmer); her grandmother Elizabeth McCann; her great grandchild Ava; and her siblings, Barbara Noack, James Caine, Myles Caine Sr., Norman Caine and Ronald Caine.
She is survived by: her uncle Pat Dileo; her children, Shawn Frederick Newman (Susan) of New Hartford, Elizabeth Marek (Edegar Ligouri) of Bakerville and Lucinda Newman of Vermont; her aunt Kathryn Dileo of Barkhamsted; her siblings, Raymond Caine of Indiana and Verna Jean Wagner (Tim) of Tennessee; her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Caine of New Hartford and Joan Caine of Barkhamsted; her grandchildren, Michael Newman (Brandy) of New Hartford, James Newman (Alysha) of Winchester, Ethan Newman (Rachel) of New Haven, Abigail Szegedy (Eric) of Harwinton, Samuel Newman (Miranda) of Hartland, Colby Marek (Ashley Howes) of Bakerville, Caroline Marek of Bakerville and Nicholas Newman of Vermont; her great grandchildren, Michael, Liam, Joshua, Ryder, Isabella, Payton and Elliot; and her pets, Kelly and Midnight.
