She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Theodore Beckett and Gladys Watson Beckett of Boonville, MO.; and her sister Gayle (Vess). She is survived by: her husband Richard Shelby Janes; her daughters, Sally Erbe (Richard), Lisa Smith (Duncan) and Susan Janes; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Erbe, Barrett Erbe, Christian Smith, Andrew Smith, Geoffrey Smith and Kathryn Smith.
