With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alberta Turick of New Hartford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Alberta may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. D. Neikirk and Jennie Neikirk (Leddick); her former husband Russell L. Turick; her children, Carol and Russell "Rusty" Turick; and her siblings, Clarice Love, Eunice Love, Thelma Stout Paull and Hollie Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Utterburg (Donald) of Rocky Hill, CT, David Turick (Brenda) of Barkhamsted, CT and Richard Turick (Kari) of Canton, CT; her friend Pauline; and her granddaughter Christine. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many beloved family members.
