He is survived by: his parent Frances Butera (Gillotti); his children, Richard Butera of California and Karen Hunter (William) of New Fairfield; and his grandchildren, Kevin Hunter, Ryan Hunter and Katie Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
