Maria Campanile Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Campanile of New Fairfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Aniello Campanile; and her parents, Angelo Pedalino and Carmella Pedalino. She is survived by: her children, Antoinette DeSimone, Andrea Campanile, Angelo Campanile and Michael Campanile. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home (9 Granville Ave, Danbury, CT 06810). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Church (21 Brush Hill Rd, New Fairfield, CT 06812).
