He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kearns and Bertice Kearns; and his grandson Michael Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Judith M. Kearns (Conant); his sons, Daniel Kearns of New Fairfield, Patrick (Lori) of New York, Timothy (Susan) of Marlborough and James (Colette) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Joseph, Tara, David, Zachary, Adeline and Shaiera; and his great grandchild Charlie.
