It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Merritt of New Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Harvey and Cecile A. Broadhurst; and her husband William C. Merritt. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ripollone (Nicholas), Marion Ray (Paul), Kathleen Merritt, William Merritt (Jane Ellen), Philip Merritt (Wenie), Edward Merritt (Connie), Brian Merritt (Christine), Matthew Merritt (Adele), Erin Merritt (Jennifer Lanese) and Debbie Strang. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to the increasing numbers of Covid 19 infections, the family kindly asks that masks be worn at all times while attending the services.
