It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Uhlein of New Canaan, Connecticut, born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Grace Bergius (Bill); her sister Ginny Rhett; her parents, Dr. Howard Cooper and Katherine Cooper; her husband J. Wyatt Uhlein; and her children, Anne and John. She was also cherished by her three children, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, her family is planning a memorial gathering for a future time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy (nature.org) or National Wildlife Federation (NFW.org).
