It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Suner Thomas of New Canaan, Connecticut, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rafter and Irma Suner Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Thomas of New Canaan; his son Christopher Thomas (Pritha Mitra) of Washington, DC; and his granddaughter Smita Mitra Thomas.
Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Richard due to the pandemic.
