He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Thorn Wheeler and Raymond C. Wheeler; his wife JoAnne "Jonnie" Baker of Glendale; his brother Robert; his son-in-law Rod Lyons; his daughters, Lynn Lyons of White Plains, Sharon Wheeler (Tony Napoli) of Santa Maria, CA and Anne Newman (Rick) of Redding, CT; his granddaughter Kate Leffingwell (James Fields) of New York City; and his sister Virginia Riddle of Brookfield, WI. He was also cherished by 5 nephews and a niece.
Instead of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to St. Mark's Church or the New Canaan Historical Society.
