He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kapteina and Antoinette Kapteina (Pocograno). He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Kapteina (Bimmel); his brother Tom Kapteina; his siblings-in-law, Robin Bimmel and Marlene Lofaro; and his caregiver Matt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hoyt Funeral Home (199 Main St, New Canaan, CT 06840).
