He was predeceased by: his father Sterling M. Lefler; and his grandfather William Bidwell Conner. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Conner Lefler of New Canaan, CT.; his son Mark Lefler Jr. of Auburn; his grandsons, Draven and Conner Lefler; and his sister Anne Lloyd of Front Royal, Virginia.. He is also survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews, his family and the many friends.
