He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harold Cogswell and Ida Elizabeth Cogswell (Sizensky); and his brother Kevin K. Cogswell. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Cogswell (Vitiello); his daughters, Jennifer Lynn Cogswell of New Canaan and Melissa Ann Cogswell of New Britain; his siblings, Dennis C. Cogswell of Woodstock, VT and Lori A. Flynn (Cogswell) of Bridgewater, VT; and his brother-in-law Michael J. Vitiello of New Canaan. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 182 South Avenue, New Canaan, CT 06840.
