He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haas and Mary Haas (Fragale); and his wife Dolores Haas. He is survived by: his children, Carol Kopec (Bill) of Snellville, GA and Joseph Haas Jr. (Pam) of Wilton, CT; his sister Mary Ann Urda (Sam) of Stamford, CT; his grandchildren, Billy (Gabrielle), Matt Kopec, Victoria, Clarissa and Brooke Haas; and his great grandchildren, Marley Jo and Luka Joseph.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to the New Canaan Fire Department.
