He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Tewksbury Neidig and William Banigan; his wife Gail; his daughters, Megan Shepherd-Banigan, Kara Mertz and Jillian Stokley; and his grandchildren, Adalynne Mertz, Amaia Mertz, Orion Shepherd, Elizabeth Shepherd, Macklin Stokley, Hudson Stokley and Walker Stokley.
