James Carty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Carty (New Canaan, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Carty and Agnes Carty. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Philip (Denise), Chris (Megan), Anne (Brian) and Liz (PJ); his grandchildren, Taylor, Finley, Madelyn, Ryan, Soda, Emmett, Caitlyn, Noah and Liam; his brother Thomas J; and his nephew Thomas J. Carty III.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the St Aloysius Church (21 Cherry St, New Canaan, CT 06840). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory with the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
