He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Van Benschoten, Claire Rische and Diana Locke; his grandchildren, Sarah Cannavaro, Matthew Van Benschoten, Ellis and Stuart Locke; and his children-in-law, Lenore Van Benschoten, Charles Locke and Philip Rische.
