He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scannell and Mary Jollymore Scannell; his brother Joseph; and his niece Kristen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Lloyd Scannell; his siblings, Neil and MaryAnn; his children, Christopher (Leslie), Anik (Glenn) and Kirsten (Dennis); his grandchildren, Aidan, Dagny, Molly, Tess, Gaelle, Noel, Solenn, Carys, Emmett, Skylar and Owen; and his son Jaime Moore.
