He was predeceased by: his father William J. Knope Jr.; and his sister Barbara Clark. He is survived by: his mother Rita Knope (Goulet); his wife Ann B. Knope (Leask) of New Britain; his son Daniel B. Knope; his daughter-in-law Melissa of Ellington; his granddaughters, Lacey E. and Keira A. Knope of Ellington; and his sisters, Marianne Dunlop, Diane Thrower and Donna Megin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a wide circle of friends.
