He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ackerman and Genevieve Ackerman (Josefiak) of New Britain, CT.; and his wife Aggie Ackerman. He is survived by: his sister Jean Aparo (Edward); and his children, Arlene Burek (Raymond) and William H. Ackerman II.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mind Matters LLC, 220 Old Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook, a place Bill found friends and shared good times.
