He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wiillie Simmons and Lillie Backus Simmons. He was also cherished by 4 sons; 6 daughters; 33 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and spiritual sons and daughters.
