He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Jr. (Janssen) of Old Lyme, CT. and John Russo, Jr. of Old Lyme, CT.; his children, Stephen, Amanda and Stefanie; his grandson Trevor of New Britain; his siblings, John Russo III of Newington, Vincent Russo of Old Lyme, Scott Russo of Vernon, Melanie Scelza (Frank) of Berlin, Stefanie Landers of Old Lyme and Shelly Nanci (Chris) of Rocky Hill; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole LaVette, Samantha Petillo, Micaela Scelza, Marina Nanci, Gianna Nanci, Karleigh Landers, Frank Scelza and Jonathan Russo.
