He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Hard (Bailey) and Wallace D. Hard; his wife Joyce Mitchell; and his brothers, Daniel (Rose) and Willis (LaMoyne).
He is survived by: his children, Cecelia Hard (William Hendricks), Thomas (Gwen Hard), Clifford (Violet Hard), Philip (Deborah Hard) and Stephen Hard (Mark Giulietti). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren, over a score of nieces and nephews.
