He was predeceased by: his parents, Teofil Gajda and Rose Gajda (Was); his sister Gloria Melecsinsky; and his siblings-in-law, John Melecsinsky, Edward Tumel and Irene Whitford (Ellery).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Gajda (Tumel) of New Britain, CT; his children, Theodore W. Gajda, Jr. of New Britain, CT, Paul Gajda (Melissa) of New Britain, CT, Patricia Beloff (Henry Stregowski) of Plantsville, CT and Pamela Gajda (Lawrence Bradley) of Plantation, FL; his sister Geraldine Palmer of New Britain, CT; his grandsons, Jeffrey and Michael Gajda; and also Joan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
