She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Blanton (Robinson) and Walter Blanton; her siblings, Esther Haynes, Gertrude Brown and James Blanton; her son Calvin McIlwain, Sr.; and her stepchildren, Ronald Brooks, Alvin Brooks and Diane Guiles.
She is survived by: her husband Alton; her children, Rev. Dannita Stewart Lofton of Durham, ME, Yvonne McIlwain of New Britain, Conn., Albert McIlwain, III (Louise), W. Daryl McIlwain of Portland, ME, Rev. Jeff McIlwain (Kim) of Saco, ME, Scott McIlwain (Karen) of Portland, ME and Mark McIlwain of Portland, ME.; and her stepdaughters, Maxine Harris, Pasadena and Calif.
