With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Davis of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Andrews and Eva Andrews (Williams); her husband Stewart W. Davis, Sr.; and her siblings, Evangelist Mary Stock, Minnie Gaynus, Ben Andrews, Benny James Andrews and James Holzendorf.
She is survived by: her children, Stewart "Butch" W. Davis, Jr. of New Britain, CT, Dareth Kha Hodges (Garlon) of Fayetteville, GA and Nanci Davis-Johnson of New Britain, CT; her siblings-in-law, Donald Mitchner of East Hartford, CT and Dolores Martin (Timothy) of Kingsland, GA; her niece Florrie Reed of Woodbine, GA; and her close friends, Jackie Evans and Catherine Haynes. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
