He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Norma Cruz-Mathis; his parents, Robert L. Mathis and Deloris Noye Mathis; his children, Raushand L. Mathis, Pharoh S. C. Mathis, Ratosha R. McBride and Datari I. D. Mathis; his sister LaMetrie Ware; and his grandsons, Jason D. Combs, Jr. and Jacob L. Mathis. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
