He is survived by: his wife Lori Burdo (Otero); his children, David McCallister Jr. of Bristol and Leigha Rivera of New Britain; his siblings, Scott D. Burdo of New Haven, Vt., Victoria Mullany of Bristol and Penny Burdo of Monson, MA.; his grandchildren, David McCallister III, William Diaz Jr., Angel Rivera, Sebastian Rivera, Autumn Rivera and Olivia McCallister; and his pet Merlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
