He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Harvey; his wife Anne Harvey (Doolittle); his father George Burns; his siblings, Lauren Harvey, Wilda Higgins, Wilmont Harvey, Clarence Harvey, Fay Korhonen and Victor Burns; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Kucak.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Laposky of New Britain and Robin Futrell (Linwood) of Texas; his sister Flora Bell of Kensington; his grandchildren, Lila Ocasio (Evan Acevedo Tamika), Mariah Futrell and Christopher Kucak; his stepson Angelo Chekas of New Britain; and his great grandchild Elijah Acevedo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
