He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Butler and Winifred Butler (Grace); his son Thomas; and his sister Frances Tanguay. He is survived by: his son Daniel M. Butler of New Britain; and his grandsons, Seamus and Robert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
