He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Butch" and Doris Margentino (Hanson); his son Jamie Jon Margentino; and his siblings, Robert Margentino and Linda D'Amato.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son Jeff (Amy) of New Britain; his grandchildren, Jacob Margentino and Justin Stange; and his siblings, Peter (Deborah) of Farmington and Dori Ann (Jim Platosh) of Farmington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
