She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Young and Rose Young (McCarrick); and her husband James Scarlett. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Scarlett; her grandchildren, James Searle (Karli), Amanda Searle (Ryan Alexander) and Zachary Searle; her sister Rosalene Birtles (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Alexander and Stanley Searle; her niece Maxine Talbot (Frank); her great-niece Samantha; and her great-nephew Jake.
