It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nayda Rosa Ortiz of New Britain, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edison Ortiz, Sr. and Haydee Muñiz Maldonado. She is survived by: her children, Edison Alexis Lalles of New Britain, Johnny Lee Lalles of Plainville, Nicholas Juan Lalles of New Britain and Naijuanie Luz Lalles of New Britain; her siblings, Edison Ortiz, Jr. of Walhalla, SC, Reynaldo "Mollo" Ortiz of Waterbury, Eddie "Guili" Ortiz, Luz "Lucy" Mel of Middletown and Rosa Haydee Addis of Swansea, SC; and her grandchildren, Jazlene "Gracie", Johnny "J. J.", Edison "E. J.", Nathan, Nicholas Lalles, Jr. and Layla Aldea. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
