She was predeceased by: her parents, David Yopp and Mary Lena Yopp (Perry); her son Thomas West; and her siblings, Thomas Yopp, Eldredge Yopp, Benjamin Yopp, Edna and Willie Mae Cross.
She is survived by: her husband John Henry West; her children, Alfred West, Anthony West (Denise), Deborah Martinez, Maurice West, Maureen Simmons and Darian West (Marie); and her sisters, Bernice Wooten and Priscilla Pearson. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
