She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Kowalczyk; her son Paul Simcik; and her siblings, Joseph Kowalczyk, Anna Lazicki and Agnes Simcik.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Kowalczyk (Bandurska); her children, John Simcik of Southington, Marsha Tallard (Robert) of Newington and Gail Embacher (William) of East Hampton; her sister Ceilia Kowalczyk of New Britain; her daughter-in-law Christine Simcik; her grandchildren, Adam Simcik (Melissa Lapent), Craig Simcik (Erin) and William J. Embacher II; her wife Heather Embacher; her great grandchildren, Eleanor Simcik, Alexander Simcik and Audrey Embacher; and also Brian Embacher (Jaime Marland).

Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's School, 461 Alling St., Kensington, CT 06037 or to the Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Dr., Berlin, CT 06037.
