He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marianna Kita (Furmanek) of New Britain and Mieczyslaw Kita; his sister Jola Sliwinski (Wesley) of Farmington; his nephew Paul Sliwinski (Eileen); his daughters, Micaela of Unionville, Keira of Unionville and Nora of Unionville; his niece Cathy Colandrea (Mike); his sons, Cole and Jack of Rensselaer, NY; and his nephew Michael Sliwinski of Washington, DC.. He was also cherished by his uncle, aunt and cousins in New Britain, and extended family.
