With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Sevigny of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Sevigny to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Baylock and Katherine Baylock (Lucas); and her husband Richard Sevigny. She is survived by: her children, Richard Sevigny (Dory) of Andover, CT, Laura Blankenburg (Michael) of Plainville, CT, Debra Maselek of East Hartford, CT and Michael Sevigny (Marion) of Port Ludlow, WA; her son-in-law Joe Maselek; and her siblings, Kathy Beaudoin and Andy Baylock. She is also survived by five grandchildren, her five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made in Marilyn's honor to The Plainville Community Food Pantry, Inc., P.O. Box 233, 54 South Canal Street Plainville, CT 06062.

“I remember Mrs. S from the time I was about 5 years old. She was the nice lady at Folcik's Market who threw in the extra pennies when we didn't have enough money. She was the mom cheering on Michael (jellybean) at the H.S. swim meets. She was the patient lady who taught me how to do book work for our store. And she was the aunt of my friend Andrea who worked at Tunxis. She was a very special lady who will be remembered in my fondest memories. Peace to her entire family.”

“Deepest condolences on the loss of the treasure of Mrs. Sevigny. My first boss at Dairy Farms in about 1970. Always kind, patient and funny. It was always fun to work with her even at 5 AM.
