It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn J. McGuire (New Britain, Connecticut), who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elsie McGuire and David McGuire; her cousins, Dr. Arthur McGuire of East Longmeadow, MA, Betsy Eltgroth of Livermore, CA, Clare Porter of Garrison, NJ, Jane Danaher of Newport, MA and Monsignor Frank McGrath of Darien, CT.; her godchildren, Ellen Lachance, Jessie Goodwin and Michael Zapatka; and her friends, Vicki Bogdon and Joyce Schwartz. She was also cherished by child, the number of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartford Arts Council 100 Pearl St, Hartford, CT 06103 or Naylor Elementary School 639 Franklin Ave, Hartford, CT 06114.

“Marilyn, I will always remember how you talked to me the night before my Moms and my flight out of Connecticut and how you were so happy I was bringing My Mom to California to live iso she would be near her family so she would feel loved and cared for in her final years … Give my Mom & Dad and Grandma Val and Shawn a Hug for me tell them I love & miss them.
