She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Sokolowski; her mother Stanislawa Gwiazdowski; and her daughter Jadwiga (Heddy). She is survived by: her children, Kazimierz (Brenda) of New Britain and Christine (Ted) of Farmington; her grandsons, Michael, Richard, Mark, Steven and Jon; her great grandchildren, Luke, Ellie and Abigail; and her son-in-law Roman.
