She is survived by: her children, Hector Garcia (Madeline Garcia Aponte), Lourdes Cruz (Heriberto Cruz) and Gilbert Garcia; her daughter-in-law Sondra Aponte-Garcia; her grandchildren, Doris Garcia, Hector I. Garcia, Jessica Garcia, Heriberto Cruz Jr., Emilio Cruz, Eliano Cruz, Joshua Garcia, Gabrielle Garcia and Elliot A. Garcia III; her great grandchildren, Jeremii Hairston, Maylani Fernandez and Lennon Leigh Crispo; and her sisters, Noelia Pereira, Ines Cordero and Himilce Avila. She is also survived by many other siblings, nieces, and nephews.
