He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominga Ortiz and Salvador Ortiz; his daughter Luz Burgos; and his grandson Angel Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Ortiz; his children, Carmen Baez (Tony), Guillermina Beatty (Dennis), Nelida Medina (Antonio), Ana Delma Benitez (Manuel), Maria Elena Ortiz, Damaris Ortiz, Angel Luis Ortiz (Modesta), Eddie Ortiz (Irma Grimes) and Fernando Ortiz (Patricia); and also Adalberto Ortiz (Pastress Emily Ortiz). He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, a brother and a sister, many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
