He is survived by: his wife Vivian Marie Hale; his children, Tweedale Alston of West Hartford, CT, Claibourne Alston (Mildred) of Durham, NC, Jacklyn Whitaker (Rudolph) of Glen Allen, VA, Reginald Alston and Veronica Hardy (Harry); and his godson David Shaw (Angela).
